Delete My Data
This page explains how to request that your account and associated data are deleted from apps and websites made by Chris Cartland, including Labs and Garage.
How to Request Deletion
- Send an email to chris@cart.land with the subject "Delete my account".
- Name the app or website your request is about (for example, Labs or Garage).
- Include the account information you use with the app, such as the email address you sign in with, so we can find your data.
We will confirm your request by email and delete the data described below. You can also request deletion of specific data you submitted without deleting your entire account — describe what you want removed in your email.
What Data Is Deleted
When your deletion request is complete, we delete all data associated with your account:
- Account information: Your account and the identifiers you use to sign in.
- Submitted content: Any data you submitted through the app, including text, images, videos, and other files.
- Activity data: Data about how you used the app.
What Data Is Kept
We may keep a record of your deletion request itself, so we can show that it was completed. No other data associated with your account is kept.
Retention Period
Deletion requests are processed within 30 days of verifying your request. Residual copies may remain in routine backups for up to 90 days after that before they are permanently removed.
